Concept, Design and Screen Printing
In this design exercise from a 2008 class with legendary lettering artist Tony DiSpigna, BETWEEN THE FOLDS proposes a more conceptual alternative to the existing movie poster. The square format mimics origami paper and can be folded into traditional origami figures (instructions printed on reverse). Once folded, the white lettering yields a playful typographic texture.
